coolant leak problem?
I was changing my oil over the weekend and noticed a chunk of coolant on the outside of the oil filter. Above it on the engine, I could see a bigger chunk of dried coolant that looked to be seeping out. Any idea what this is or if its something to be worried about? My coolant level seems to be fine. Attached is a picture of it. Its taken looking up above where the oil filter is located on a 1st gen, 3.4 L, 4WD. Thanks!

If it was me I would be concerned anytime I see coolant dried up or wet.
I suggest a pressure test to see where it's coming from.
Probably if you scrape off that dried up coolant that where it's coming from.
Also if it comes down to it you can enter a fluorescent dye to system.

ksti is on target with the pressure test.
Two options seem possible: external head gasket leak or the oil cooler coolant hose has a pin hole leak and squirts periodically.
