I completely agree it is a great site, that is why I gave money. After I got the e-mail that said we wouldn't be able to post after a certain date, I sent my monye in. Apparently that was just a scare tactic, because I think that date has come and gone....

i'm a contributing member b/c the cost/benefit is waay in favor of the benefits. a few bucks out of my pocket for the money i've saved (i.e. repairs) has far outweighed what i would've spent at the dealership. howver, that's been counterbalanced by mods. so its a wash but i got some mods out of it.

I donated as soon as I got the e-mail. I couldn't think of a better way to spend some money.

Not once was it ever written that you would not be able to post if you did not contribute.
This page here is what was also sent out in the emails.

I'm glad the title "Contributing Member" was finally explained.

All this time I was thinking that my posts were so beneficial to others that I was being acknowledged for contributing posts of substance!

Drat!
