condensation problem

hello,

my '04 xtra cab taco has condensation inside the left front turn indicator (orange one) and between the plastic and the dashboard on the gauges.
the wetness shows up only at night on the dash, but all the time on the lamp.
i have not been running the heater or the a/c. i did wash it, but no differently from the past.

i live six miles from the ocean, so it's never really "dry", and this dampness just started two months ago.

any ideas ?

thank you.

Fixed it for you, my old goat eyes can't read fine print too good. That's a new one on me, don't think I've seen anyone with that problem. Here's a bump to the top for you.

both of my turn signals are doing that too, I'm gonna look for a solution when i take the grille off here in a few days, I'm thinking there is probably a small hole at the low point of the housing to allow for draining any water that might get in them, i'm gonna caulk it if there is

"condensation"

dear atistang,

thnx for responding.

how would the moisture get in? rain? washing the truk?

maybe it's a seal? how do you get the lense off?

thank you again.

you have to pop the hood, then there is a screw on top of the corner light, take it out then slide the light forward to get it out of the clips it sits in.

as far as the lens i think it is glued on

there isn't a good way to get at the part of the lens that is glued, so i think the only option is to get new ones, there is a vent on the back side of them, you could try to dry them out with air or in the oven at a very low temperature then seal that vent, i think i might try it later this summer
