Oh, there has been known to be a few around!

4x4 Trails.net has a lot listed. The only other one that is not listed that I can't think of is the Rising Sun club which is primarily composed of Land Cruisers.

I myself am not in a club. I usually like to go at it alone. Nobody likes being held up by a camera guy.

Actually, I've been on a couple runs with the Toyota locals. They aren't too bad.

Where do you live?

Another Coloradian Here.(I'm actually a native, if you can believe that! - it's a rare thing these days.)

I assume when you say stay the night - your talkin about in summer Little chilly up in the mountains about now.

There is a annual Colorado 4Runner Jamboree - this summer will be the 3rd annual. Mostly 2nd and 3rd gen 4runners and Tacos but new blood with different types of Toyota are always welcome!

A couple pics from last summer's CO4RJ:

The only Toyota Club I've ever heard mentioned (besides Rising Sun) is Wild Yoats I'm not sure if there is a chapter in Colorado - but on their website there might be opportunities to start your own chapter.

I'm in Lakewood. I, too, am a native.

The Co4RJ sounds like a blast. Heck, maybe by then, I'll have a 1st gen!

This Tacoinan video will get your drool factor up there Matt.

http://www.norcalttora.com/~bob/pict...nator_2002.wmv

It is 30 minutes long, and best viewed if you right click the link and download it to your PC.

It is also 25 MB.

You Colorado guys are so lucky. I lived in Denver for 2 years and what a great city and area. I would move back in a second. Denver is one of the best cities I have visited in the US.

I wanna play!

I'd like to find out more about that Colorado 4Runner jambo.

I was a member of two clubs for a while but they were too crazy. I like less-organized stuff now.

Welcome aboard to both LoCore and YoungFellar. How about a semi easy run like Slaughterhouse Gulch , near Conifer. Next Saturday would be good for me. Look in Offroad + event planning, i'll start a topic there where we can discuss who wants to go where when.

What do you drive Young Fellar?

Here's a thread. Let's get something cooking.

Nothing is set yet on the CO4RJ other than the fact that there will be one. I suggested setting Camp Hale near Leadville as a base camp but that would mean some pavement pounding to get between trails and camp. Now I think Montezuma behind Keystone Ski Area would be better. No airing up and down for highway driving every day. Highway driving at trail pressure sux.

I just went there today. Got through with no problem.. it was a blast, there wasn't any parts that could stop me. No bypasses for this stock '86 4Runner.
