Code PO- 125 temp sensor on 3.4 ??
Exactly where is this sensor located on the 3.4 V-6?
I was getting a code for a bad o2 sensor, but no longer am, and now Im getting one for a bad temp sensor.
Gotta pass the smog check soon, thanks.

I could not find the link from the online FSM so here you go. Just make sure you buy an OEM ECT/water temp sensor and new gaskets if you take off the front fuel pipe....

Thanks for the pic,
I need to replace the gaskets on the fuel line?
WHeres the cheapest best place to get the sensor?
Im guessing not at the stealership.
I just swapped the sensor with one from the 3.0 I recently yanked from a 95 runner, but that didnt change anything, apparently its a bad sensor as well.
is there a way to test the sensor?

Testing the ECT sensor....
Here is the procedure. No, one must get the OEM ECT sensor from the dealer as far as I know. You can try 1sttoyotaparts.com for a cheaper price.
Just curious, how did you get the old one out?
The numbers on the Y axis on the graph are measured in Kohms....

old theread but i just got off the phone with a parts guy here at lk city toyota and he read the same code (that i got today, 125) and after talking about cooling system temp it went and said that its the front o2 sensor that is actually at fault. hoping to clear this up.
i went ahead and cleaned my MAF instead and cleared out the code by disconnecting the batt. sor fat its gone but i suspect it will come back.
