Clutches
Ok Guys, here is the deal. I S/C my truck and added a URD 7th, 2.2” pulley, Short Throw shift kit. I have spent the last 2 weeks tuning my truck, open loop right at 12.3 -12.5 depending on the gear. Now that I am not running rich in open loop I am making a lot more power, at first the truck was running at 9.5- 11 ARF. If I run out 1st gear to redline and grab second, my clutch starts to slip and I wont really go until I let up and the clutch grabs. So this leads me to think that I need a new clutch and pressure plate with more clamping force. I don’t think that I want to go with a 6 puck racking clutch disk, I am leaning towards a stock clutch disk with either a TRD pressure plate or a Downey off road PP with 1600 lbs force. I am also thinking about going with a LC engineering aluminum fly wheel, but I don’t know if it is worth the costs or not.
Dose this sound like a good set up?
Is the TRD PP worth it?
Who else makes an aluminum flywheel?
Rig specs
2000 4runner 5 speed, S/C, 2.2”, URD 7th, 4x4.
I do not rock crawl this truck , I do take it to the desert 5 to 10 times a year, it is my DD.

Marlin HD Semi-Metallic clutches... http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/tra...on/clutch.html
IMO certain "TRD" parts are more appealing for their hype rather than being cost-worthy or of better quality...for instance, clutches and exhaust.
Ya seem to know this yourself... https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/s...heaper-129702/
