Clutch question...

Clutch question...
Ok today my clutch pedal started sticking to the floor, not all the time just once in a while, the weird thing is is that all though its stuck to the floor, its not engaged?!? Whats up?

I agree w/ Kyle there... check your drivers side floorboard for leaks, that's where the master usually leaks from... follow the clutch pedal up and you'll see it. I typically replace them in pairs, both the master and the slave.

i really need to replace my master, it's always leaked(well, every truck i've owned, the master leaked), slave popped 30 miles from home last year and i had to syncho shift all the way back don't think my clutch is far behind...it only grabs when i get to the top of the pedal now. maybe i'll get lucky and find a 50$ L52 tranny to dump in there for when that thing goes

Well today I put in a new master cylinder, and the problem is fixed. It wasn't leaking, the plungers just gave away. I would like to thank you guys for your quick responses, they probly saved me money.

It's really easy. It only cost like $20 for the new cylindar and it just bolts on. Then you just have to pump some fluid into the system again and your good to go.
