Clutch Adjustment?

Is it possible to adjust your clutch without dropping the transmission? After driving my friends tacoma today i realized my clutch is wayyyyyyy out on the end. The last 1 or 2 inches is when the clutch starts to engage, the other like 6 inches do nothing. Any help is appriciated

1. Bleed the system

2. Adjust the pedal

There are no other adjustments.

Inspect your rubber lines, especially where they meet the crimp to steel line, also inspect the slave cylinder as well, pull the rubber boot back and check for wetness..If you find no leaks and after a good bleeding,if its the same..Its gonna be clutch time.

If you do replace your clutch, make sure you replace rear main oil seal, have the flywheel"machined",And replace all 3 componants, clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing...And I would consider replacing the slave cylinder even if it looks good...#1 reason that a non-abused clutch fails.
