Clicking noise from glovebox??
Hi all,
Search got me nowhere, so now I ask you all -
I've got this insanely irritating clicking noise coming from the glovebox area when going over bumps in the road. It sounds like a relay clicking, much like the antenna relay clicks when the stowing the power antenna. I've read it could be the heater servo motor, but my heater works normally.
What could be making this noise? I've yanked the glovebox door (yes, it's empty) and felt around but nothing seems loose.
Anything else back there I should look at?
TIA
MAX

i had this problem with my 88 std cab. for me it was the heater fan housing being loose or something up in there.. i took a shop rag and stuffed it up in there, (watch out for moving parts) no more rattle
