cleaned up the 4runner today, also took some poser shots.
the sun wasn't exactly in the right spot for these photos to come out great,
but oh well.
POSER shots
The right rear was off the ground by about 2 inches, but its hard to see that in the picture.

That is more of a reservoir than a "lake" but its about 30 feet lower than it was 2 months ago! The spot where I took those shots would have required me being towed out about 2 weeks ago, there was still some water in the tracks, and they might not look too deep in the shots, but add water to the lake bottom, and you get some super slippery mud.
I took my kia sportage (it was lifted 3" and had mud tires) to that are last winter. Its a place to play a little bit, but the sign says "no off-roading" when you enter, but the trails leading to the lake are already pretty rutted, and add water and you get to sort of off-road, on the road.
anyway, it always amazes me that the water level drops so much over the summer, but then again, no rain for a long time.

"are they off a newer model taco?"
Yes I actually have 2 full sets of 4 of those rims. I have another set with 225/75/16 kumho kl71 M/T's (5 tires) for sale in the for sale section.
But I havn't had any luck so far selling them. I also have them on ebay.
I am thinking I might need to take the tires off the rims and sell them separately.

how are you not selling those?! You might do better selling them separate liek you said. But good lookin rig man, I like that color too that was one of the colors I had in mind when looking for my 2nd 4runner but went with a gold 2nd gen instead

thanks, I didn't exactly pick the color, my 4runner is a salvage title vehicle and I bought it for what I thought was a good price, but that was back when they were still spendy to find one under 150,000 miles. But you'd never know it was in an accident, aside from the title.
the interior is like mint condition.
As far as why I can't sell the wheel/tire package. Well my guess is that people want to up-size the tires instead of the same, or slightly smaller than stock. Most 4runners I see have the 265/70/16 size tires. these are almost an inch smaller than that size. So it would throw the speedo off by 2.6 mph at 60mph (when the gauge reads "60" you are really doing 57.4mph)
I know a few of the runners (like mine) and some of the taco's this would be a slight up-size.
