I plan on using my tax refund to replace my sagging coils. I have done some searching and have come up 5 different brands. They are:
1. OME at $124 from 4x4 connection
2. Eibach at $ 134.25 from Autocarparts.com
3. Unknown brand $149 from Allpro.com
4. Performance Products at $199
5. Downey at $149 Don't know where to buy from, web site no help

Which should I go with, I know this subject has been used to death, but help anyway, Ok. Thanks in advance.

All I can say is I am very happy with my Downey HD's.
No sag since they were put on spring of '99.

PP's are Eibach I think. I've had mine for a good 5 years +

PP's are H&R (could have been Eibach 5 years ago though) spring out of Germany... Unfortunately, H&R does not sell this particular spring anywhere else (that I can find) except Performance Products. Tire Rack sells H&R parts, maybe they can get them at a cheaper price than PP. H&R part number is 109925, front and rear.

I had the PP springs, they weren't quite supple enough for my tastes, but for overall street use, I thought they were much much better than the stock springs.

Downey on mine for off-road, but OME is supposed to make a good product as well...

EDIT: I think you can also get the OME's a little cheaper than that. Xtreme Off Road Mike also sells OME.

Ya' know, I went back and read the original post, etc. and I meant to ask, what knid of driving do you do with your 4Runner? I found this to be a very important question for myself when I started rebuilding my wasted suspension.

I wrote you an e-mail via your biz. Which shocks do you recommend? I'm debating Bilstein and Edelbrock IAS. I do a lot of street driving and ride comfort is a consideration. Also, which steering stabilizer do you carry/recommend?
