Checking what a friend told me

Is there any 3rd Generation V8's? All the ones ive looked at are v6's i was just wondering if there was. Also I think im going to go for a third generation (Thanks for your replys on my other post)

No such thing as a 3rd gen V8. Sorry. But if you want feel like you have one, 3.4L V6 w/TRD Supercharger. Now that's fun!

Yea, Thats what i was thinking...

If i can find that yea it would be fun Im looking on Autotrader in my area nothing to empressive at the moment

Also i have been looking at some lifts for the 4runners what is some that you guys recommend? Probably a 4 inch

V8's are out now in the 4th Gen (2003) 4Runners.

As far as lifts for a 3rd Gen are concerned, I have no idea, but from what I've read for the front shocks go with the Sway-A-Way Race Runners (I Think that's what they're called) you can adjust them for how ever much lift you want (up to 3" if I remember right, I could be wrong, I don't own one) Not sure what the options for the rear are.
