Check out my "custom" exhaust....

Just came back from a muffler shop and I had them replaced the stock muffler with a Borla. I also had the exhaust exit to the rear and put a stainless tip made by Magnaflow. The sound is a lot louder than stock and it will take some getting used to. I'm happy with the way it turned out. Let me know what you guys think.

Yeah, that looks great. But we need to know if it sounds like a swarm of bees stuck in a can of Folgers coffee or not.

What could you possibly be implying?

Looks good man. Did you notice any increase in performance?

I think he's asking if it sounds like a riced out Civic or not. Hopefully not!

If I'm not mistaken, Borla made the TRD cat-back that many of us have. No rice at all
At low RPM, it sounds very similar to a stock Grand Prix. If you stand next to one of them and hear it rev, you might agree. Though, the Grand Prix use stereo rather than our mono.

It appears like a very sharp bend in the tail pipe just forward of the tip, almost like a wicked kink, is this the case or is it an optical illusion? otherwise it looks very nice and I especially like the look of that magnaflow tip. I will be considering the same or perhaps going to functional dual set after an engine swap to the 3.4L. I have a 2nd Gen 1990 with a rear mounted spare so that allows for more room underneath. Good post thanks for the pics.
