Nelicon- Mine moves quite a bit within the hitch, let me know if you have the same problem. Hopefully someone can give me a good idea for a way to get rid of the wobble.

he told me to drill a hole where the second hole on the carrier itself is and weld a nut to the hitch, and then screw a bolt in so that it will get rid of the wobble

btw where is your license plate mounted too?

nevermind i just looked at my carrier, it has too little brackets below the hilift bracket, sweet action

It already has a place for the license plate and he included two lights with bolts on the end to mount it through the holes. Its the two tabs that come down right under where the hi-lift mounts.

I wish I had access to a welder so I could do that. I will see if I can get someone to do it for me.

EDIT

Do you mean drill a hole into the side of the hitch? Let me go look at my carrier real quick to see where the second hole is. I think that is what the bolt he included is to be used for.

Ok now I am confused, could you elaborate?

Looks good. Yours seems to fit better with the 2inch body lift. I have no view out of the back window with mine.

did you send him measurements, he asked to know where the top of my licenseplate grey trim was at from hitch and thats where he ended up toping off the entire carrier too.

He just said he already had a 99 4Runner in the shop and that he would use that for measurements.

he asked me for measurements, interesting, well my 2 inch bl also accounts into that with the hitch gap.

also what kind of bolts did you use for the license plate, i didnt get any and my plate is in the back of my car, so im bound to get pulled over

He included some small red LED lights that have bolts on the back. I just screwed those on for now, I probably wont bother wiring them up.

ill have to look for my led bulbs, i didnt check the box all that well.

if not ill go buy some bulbs, dont want to get pulled over , Steve did a freakin awesome job on the carrier though, even without welding the carrier barely moves around. i doubt ill do the welding trick until later.
