CB problems...
I bought one (Radio Shack Special) Installed it and it worked fine. later on we did a permenet install mounted. Now it doesnt work.. :wtf: I can receive a signal well. hear eveyone on every channel, However, now eveytime try to transmit. Whoever is on my channel hears a feed-back signal. on my end its fine but no one can hear me over the "BBBUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRP" sound. The guy at RSshack said my antenna needed to be tuned.. but I dont know anything about that plus why would it work fine and then not work.. help!! or sugguestions

Maybe it's just the mic that you're speaking into? If you're receiving just fine and you're actually able to transmit I think that's the first thing I would look at.

Make sure the antenna connections are tight. It sounds like RF geting into the signal. It also could be too small of wire on the power cord and the CB not getting enough power.

I think your power setup should be fine. I hope you did tune your antenna as it always requires tuning every so often I"m sure it's the antenna as that's what it sounds like.
If you take your CB into any ol truck stop, they'll have CB shops there that can help ya with the tuning. Shouldn't cost ya more than a few bucks to have them tune the sucker
