So after searching around a bit, and looking to see what other's did to mount their CB's i found myself stuck. I will eventually move the CB into one of the DIN slots when I replace my 2DIN radio, but for now the stock radio is going to stay.

So I need to figure out where to mount my Uniden PRO538W. the physical dimensions are:
- 8 3/8" (L)
- 6 7/8" (W)
- 2" (H)

I'm thinking about mounting it on the tranny tunnel passenger side and tucking it up as close to the dash as possible, facing the front of the unit up.

If anyone has any suggestions, or better places to mount the thing please let me know.

let's change the question... anyone who installed a CB in their taco; where did you put it?

i'm not quite sure how the taco is set up, but i figure where i did it is general for everyone, i did it below the dash, above my right knee near the steering wheel, it fits good for me there i never hit it and it's not in the way but it's really accessible, i have a uniden also, but i can't remember the # of the model
