Some more info on your vehicle would help year, engine, etc... You should put that info in your signature.

That being said, you might be able to find something like this for your vehicle, but it depends where you live and whether or not your vehicle has to pass any sort of emissions tests.

like gallant said you can get a mil eliminator that just sends a signal back to the ecu that is similar to what the second o2 would send if you had a good cat

you might be able to gut it but if the cat isn't bad i wouldn't recommend this because they are not cheap to replace if you ever have too

you could also see if you can find a test pipe for your vehicle

squeak, like heat shield rattle ?

just go and drill some holes on the heal shield flange and rivet it, or stick
a bolt and nut on there and clamp it

Oh yeah... I forgot to add that part. My squeek on the catalytic converter was caused by a loose heat shield, which I fixed by drilling a hole near the factory tack weld that holds the two sides of the shield together (the tack weld had broken). I then put a bolt in and the squeek has been gone since.

My Truck all the sudden lost power and spudders, egg smell from exhaust.. Do you agree that my Cat is probably plugged? All the sudden like.. and right after I got a fill up. Have over 200k miles on it.

I am about to take the exhaust loose and look down the pipe at the cat if possible.. and I may try to gut it... Will this throw the check engine light? is there a way to bypass or flash the ecu?

I am installing my URD PCU O2 sensor simulator... I can't seem to locate the ECU? Can someone tell me where it is? Instructions say its near passenger seat. Darn if I see it, pulled the glovebox and don't see it there either. Anyone? Bueler?

Behind the glovebox is a tube for the defroster. It pulls out by sliding it (toward the drivers side I think) and then forward. You may need to force it a bit. The ecu is behind that.

Make sure you solder all connections. This is really not optional if you want it to work right.

Vehicle year/model info is always helpful for helping locate parts and or trouble shooting. ESP is not working for me.
