Cat back vs High Flow Muffler and Cat????
So I'm on the fence whether to spring for a cat back system(borla, etc) or to go down a cheaper road and just replace the muffler and cat with high flow models(flomaster). I've done some searching and reading in the posts but have not really seen any comparison between the two options(performance). My muffler, cat, and stock pipe seem to be in decent order so please don't factor in replacing the entire system because of any current mechanical issues.
Opinions, suggestions, and current set ups would all be appreciated.

Thanks!

all i can say from my experience is, don't get the TRD cat back system. even though i've been running it for about 3 1/2 years now with no real issues except for a completely rusted chrome exhaust tip, i would say it's not worth the money. i got mine for over $500 years ago, the rusty tip ticked me off, and i didn't get the sound i wanted. when/if the stainless stuff ever fails on this system, i'm going for the flowmaster stuff as suggested on here numerous times.
not much to contribute, just one possibility to check off the list of options.

Flowmaster is not high flow, it has baffles like a rat maze and is restrictive. Magnaflow or any other straight thru muffler is what you'll want. A highflow cat wont gain u much of anything unless your turbo or stupidcharged.
