I plan on either getting a pace setter header or stans. Its obvious which one i SHOULD get, but it all comes down to the pocketbook situation. Im most likely getting the one from stans, but I also need a new Cat. Who makes a good cat that doesnt cost an arm and a leg? And does anyone have a favorite muffler?

Well I have the Car-sound one made by magnaflow. It was about $160.00, but I went with the one with the 4in In/Out. It's the one for a V-8 so it's truly free flow. I also went with 2.25 pipes and a new magnaflow muffler. A bit louder then I'd like. The muffler was the 14 in long one. I heard that the 21in long one is much quieter. When I get some extra money I'll change it out.Right now I have good power for a 3.slow and the acceleration is a lot better then when it was stock. Seems to run smoother.
Hope that helps, however a lot of this exhaust is personal choice and many will give differing opinons, so its what works for you.

I read about Ford's honeycomb style converters they put on their vehicles, and work really well on a lot of applications. Has anyone ever used one?
