Cargo box for roof rack?

I'm considering purchasing a cargo box to attach to my roof rack. Any suggestions? Brands to buy, or not to buy?

Also, where can I find the hook/loops that attach to the roof rack. I think there should be 6-8 of them. I don't have any.

Appreciate any input.

Not sure if this is something like what your thinking ??
I got hte older model of this one many years back and it does come in handy when you need more storage for vacation trips or moving or what not. I just leave it in the gaurage till I need it them lift it up on top, bymyself so its pretty easy to handle. I also use my factory roof racks so there I didn't have to put any more parts up there. I did drill new holes in the bottom of the unit so I could slide the box forward enough to still open my rear tailgate without it hitting the box.

Its held up well (looks new still), and if your a skier it will also hold a few pairs in there without any road crap getting all over them when you hit the slopes

Cargo boxes are nice but make sure u buy a good quality fibreglass one. I had a molded plastic one and the sun and elements had it warped out so bad that it became hard to close. When I finally took it off I noticed it was full of cracks from all the attachments for latches and stuff. Also it really impacts gas mileage.

Also beware, never keep anything of value in them even if they do lock. Went snowmobiling one time in Fernie came back and found my buddies cargo box on the ground(part of factory 97 4runner rack still attached) and smashed and his brand new snowboard was gone.

try 4x4connection.com...I believe they had diamond plate lockable cargo boxes specifically designed for roof racks.
