02/24/2004 CARFAX AdvisorTM Be sure to buy this vehicle from a licensed dealer.

A curbstoner is a person who purchases vehicles at volumes that require a dealer license and then poses as a private seller to sell to unsuspecting buyers for a large profit. Curbstoning is illegal in most States.

son of a bit**...

No wonder he wanted 16.5 for a 99 70k 5 speed, where everyone else is asking even more (17+ comes to mind, private sellers)

The market is totally kicking my ass up here. Theres not a single 98+ 5 speed with normal miles and a clean history anywhere near me that isnt horribly overpriced. Everyones asking 1-2k over KBB private value

Thanks for the heads up guys, ill keep lookin...

Personally, I'd have the frame/body inspected by a body shop. 3 accidents aren't always bad. If the frame isn't bent, and the repair was done correctly, I wouldn't worry and I'd jump on that deal.

Besides, most accidents aren't reported to the police or DMV, so chances are a lot of your vehicles have been in an accident.

Best of luck!
