alright, all of a sudden, when i kick open my second barrel on the carb, the engine dies. but it wont do this if i pull redline in first, it will die in second. now, when i started screwing with it, i noticed, that when my second barrel is opened, my choke plate closes. what would make it do this? it really isnt bad arround town, but now i cant get on the interstate, and that kind of sux. i have cleaned it all out, i just cant figure out why it is opening the second barrel and closing the choke right above it. and yes, it is doing this when the engine is warmed up.

any ideas? this is one problem that i cant seem to fix.

a combo of the jets clogged, and the second barrel choke plate sticking. since the plate will only open when enough air fows past (when second barrel opens), it has to be pretty loose, with just the spring tension on it. mine got old and gummed up, and was getting stuck, flooding the engine. twice the gas was entering the carb for the ammount of air entering.
