car got vandalized last night................
last night at our schools basketball game someone spraypainted a grip of ˟˟˟˟ on my car and about 10 other cars. my friend and i got singled out tho with all sorts of personal ˟˟˟˟ (like x girlfreinds names etcetc) sooo my runner is covered in spray paint and its not comming off. ÅÅÅÅin people these days its rediculous. the sad thing is most of the ˟˟˟˟ that was written was nice stuff like hearts all over it and ur hot on the hood and man whore on my friends jeep. so anyways the 4banger might be gettin reapinted shortly (perfect timing as how i just got my 2002 front bumper (need lower valence painted) from albpm thanks a ton man)
just thought id share and the cops were total dicks about it

That's a bummer dexter. Sounds like the person that did this knows you guys.
Now you just have to find some limited fender flares and have them and the valence all painted to match your Runner.

That's f-ed up. I hope you find out who did it and can sue for the damages, it would suck to have to cover all the costs yourself.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune but if I was you I would play it super cool maybe thats to cool:pat: anyways if your in school you know how it works everyone talks and sooner or later you will find out the little punks that did it, if a bunch of cars got hit then I would bet their was a group of kids that did it, stupidity travels in packs and never keeps quiet just go about your day and before you realize it someone will squeel and then timmy told bobby that jen said rich and so on and so on
I'd give it a week before you find out but hey look at the bright side, other drivers will see your rig and be like OHHHH thats so sweet he's just married
Anyways maybe I watch one 2 many after school specials but I hope all works out

Is there any way to buff it out with some rubbing compound.
Take it to a body shop quickly and see if there is any tricks they can try.
Sorry to hear about it. :pat:
Any pics do we can see the damage?

Dude, sorry to hear about that...
However, spraypaint is NOT permanent. You can sand/buff it out. Go to Wal-Mart and get some packs of 1000 grit, 1500 grit and 2000 grit (sandpaper - next to the car touch up paint) along with some Scratch-X or Scratch-Out.
Start with the 1000 grit and make sure to keep it WET. Work on the spraypaint in LIGHT circular motion until MOST of it is gone. Change over to the 1500, continuing to keep it nice and WET and LIGHTLY sand until you get the rest of the paint off. After you get it all off, LIGHTLY POLISH the surface with the 2000 grit - again WET. Once you do that, use the Scratch-X (or Scratch-Out or whatever) and buff to a shine either by hand or with a random orbital buffer.
That should do the trick...

Did you check with the school office to see if they have any surveillance video cameras?
Any other nearby businesses that might have cameras pointed in that direction?

How in the world would spray paint go through clear coat? Clear coat is probably the most chemically resistive paint available, and spray paints are usually watercolors in comparison!
