My girlfriend works at TCI (Toyota Canada) in customer relations.
She might know. I'll ask her. |

Since I live in Canada, I can get a hold of one for you if you want. Just let me know. Most likely my dealer will have them in stock since its for the new models.

My 4Runner (3rd Gen) is a Canadian model and features a transparent rear spoiler/deflector as opposed to the metal ones with the cutout for the 3rd light.
Is this orig. equipment for the Canadian models or is mine an aftermarket spoiler? Just curious. Thanks.

I have the same type of rear spoiler on my 99. I belive it's factory like that. Over the years there was a small change to it, like a cutout of the brake light but, for the ltd models, it came from the factory like that.

Thanks Oakboy, for the info.
Kind of strange that they would have two different spoilers for the U.S. and Canada, eh? Thanka again.

That was my original question... Seems there should be someplace to buy on a Canadian site that will ship to the US. I just haven't looked around enough or heard of any so far.
The other issue would be knowing if the Canadian version would attach to the US version of the Runner. I am assuming that it would. |
