Question Can stock rear bumper handle hi-lift?

Anyone got an opinion whether the stock rear bumper can handle the weight of a hi-lift jack? I'm thinking of mounting mine there and would appreciate any pictures and or suggestions.

Do you mean to mount it to the stock bumper? If so, I think it could handle it.

However, where are you going to use it? The stock bumpers cannot handle lifting with a Hi-Lift. You need sliders or custom bumpers.

Sure it can. But AlbuJim's comments are spot on. There is no way you can USE a highlift - no place to hook on.

high lift does make a number of attachments to rectify the stock bumper situation... you can also use it as a winch(3000lb i think)

Try it sometime. A comealong is handier and works better as a winch. Using a hilift is a bit like playing russian roulette. It's dangerous even as a jack, and then you have to lift the rig to the clouds to get a wheel off the ground or out of the hole it's stuck in. I've had a couple and sold them because they never got used.
