Can Air Box Clips be replaced? Part #?
Well, salty New England winters are slowly rusting out my 97 SR5. Recent casualty is the clips that hold the airbox door closed (see picture below).
It appears these might be able to be replaced. Does anyone know? If so, does anyone know the part number? Local dealer could not find it--but that means almost nothing.
Thanks
Errol

I tried to find these at the dealer and went through the drawings with them. There seems only to be a part number for the whold air box. I just used a small metal screw about #6 x 3/4" in the lip of the lid in the middle to hold it down.

Might have to go on a field trip to the junk yard. I've always thought that those clips were a poor design. I'd prefer two to three screws on top of the box instead. My other 2 4Runners both had bent clips that would not firmly hold the lid in place.
