ive been reading and seeing a lot about these camburg setups. they obviously have a good reputation, but, is it worth the 3100 dollars for their long travel setup for the tacoma?

If you're desert racing I suppose it would be worth it.

Exclamation

You might want to mole around on Customtacos. I vaguely recall someone posting a few months back that in the end it was indeed a very sweet setup but only truly worth the big buck$ for the extreme user. For most people I think this poster thought it would be overkill and your money would be better spent elsewhere.

well, i'm in the delima of choosing between a 4x4 or a 4x2. if i get the 4x4 it would get a 3-4" lift and 33's right off the bat. however, for roughly the same price, i could go with a 2wd and immediately install a long travel setup. i guess im just torn between what to go with. ive always had a fullsize 4x4, but ive always been a racer at heart and have really been wanting to get into desert racing. we'll see i suppose

Check out KarTeck , and ESB Fab . Total Chaos makes a kit, and so does ESB. Total Chaos has a good rep, just like Camburg.
