Calling any 3rd Gen 4Runner/Tacoma owners in the Birmingham, Al area....
I've been having a terrible problem with vibration on my truck and numerous balance attempts have not solved it. All mechanical components have been inspected by the dealer twice and by Andy (BamaChem) and noone has found anything yet that is causing this vibration. I only get it at highway speeds above 65 mph and it's enough to drive you crazy. I've got 265/75/16 tires on my truck and I'm looking for someone in the Birmingham area that has either a 3rd gen Tacoma or 4Runner that I could swap the tires from your truck onto mine, and then let me take it up on the interstate to see if the vibration is still there. That would allow me to isolate the problem to a wheel/tire issue or a mechanical issue. I know the stock size is 265/70/16 so if that's what you've got, then that would be fine too. There's got to be someone out there. Reply to the thread or email me if you see this. Thanks.

Lee, check the other post I've got going and you'll see how it went today.
Mason Dixon, what size tires do you have? I'd like to find someone with 265/75/16s like I do so I can compare apples to apples. I may just wait for my friend to buy his new tires (which is gonna be about 5-6 weeks) and then do the swap then with him unless you've got 75s also. Like I've said before, I always had some vibration even when I had the 70s, but since I've gotten the 75s it has gotten so, so much worse. Thanks for the offer and let me know. Later.

Mason,
I'll let you know. I'll see if my friend can come through first and I may look you up in about 5-6 weeks after our wedding is over. He's not going to buy his new tires until August 25 when they have a buy three get one free sale. Thanks dude.
