Calling all OME Customers

So I'm looking at lifting my runner sometime in the next few months. This is my DD and I commute about 30 miles round trip per day. This summer I plan on doing some moderate wheelin and camping. In need of new tires soon and plan on 265/75's (either revos of Toyo Open Country) all around. Little to no hauling or towing.

So on to my 1st choice. I'm look at a OME lift all around. 881s w/ N91SC on the front and 906s w/ N86C on the back. I want the truck to be fairly level. I do not like the raked look!

I'd like to hear from people that actually have or have had this lift. Do you like the setup? How is the ride compaired to stock (softer, firmer?). I'm not looking for a real stiff ride. Would you buy this setup again? If not then what would you try instead. How does it perform on trails?

If you've got some pics with this setup I'd love to see em.

Thanks for the help!

i just put on the 3inch OME lift. I've got the same shocks as yours except for 890 springs and 285mt/r's. I like the ride, I'd say it is a bit more plush than stock. I had rancho 5000 shocks before the lift.

didnt know OME made a 3" lift for the 4runners, must be something new out

i have the 2.5" OME on my 02 and like it, i might actually be ordering a new kit because my springs and shocks are worn out after 70k miles on them. its a good first lift to go for, not too expensive and you dont have to add anymore parts thatn the springs and shocks

I can vouch for the OME lift. I wouldn't call it a stiff ride but definitely firmer then my old stock shocks, it's alot more controllable on bumpy dirt back country roads.

I have the 881/891 set up and like it alot. Definately a bit firmer than stock but still rides well enough to surprise my friends. I do not have any noticable rake on my rig and I was able to get 285's w/ no rubbing. The springs handle bumps and flex well on the trail. I would buy the kit again but since I don't plan on selling this 4-runner ever, I won't have to!
OME = tried and true.

You don't put "spacers" with a coil lift...these are simply some top out plates for leveling out the front w/ the rear.

No, those are without a doubt spacers. Also call ARB/Old Man Emu up and ask them what they think about adding that to their coils.

Here is the phone number to ARB USA: (866) 293-9078

A coil lift is just a coil and a shock.
