Question A/C Elimination Kits?

Has anyone heard of AirConditioner Elimination kits for 2nd Gen 3.0L V6 4Runners?

1: I don't use my A/C.
2: It needs recharging and I'm lazy.
3. I want to install the Rancho front end suspension kit, and it wont fit with the larger 134a compressor.

Thanks!

A/C Elimination? Do you want to remove it completely?

Are you wanting to Retro-fit it to the r134a system?

Im not sure i have a clear picture on the question. Please expand.

I pulled the A/C system out of an Rx7 to the tune of about 80 lbs worth of metal. No 'kit' involved. The only downside was an unused pully coming off the engine.

Never pulled a system on a toyota so there may be some additional issues that require a kit, but I can't imagine any problems with it.

side note - while I was in the Rx7 I put in an electric fan and wired the manual overide to the A/C switch on the dash, nice and clean, simple and even made some sense.

I had to go to LA today, (Dammit!) and on my way home stopped by Downey. They said that I should just have to unbolt the A/C and possibly use a elt for the version sans Air.

I need to go back and look, but how many belts are there, and do they turn the water pump or does the timing belt.?

I like having spare belts all turning my water pump. It sucks when you only have one and throw it,

The timing belt turns the water pump.
The P/S belt turns the fan.
The Alt belt also turns the fan.

But the A/C belt is exclusive to the A/C. Removing it doesnt bother a thing.

Removing the A/C wouldnt be so hard for me. I remember installing them at the dealership. Its very possible.
