Buying Tires soon? Check here

I wasn't sure where to put this, but thought everyone might want to know about it.

If you are a member of Costco, check your NEW costco wallet (coupon book). In the very front, you will find a coupon for $60 off a set of 4 Michelin or Bridgestone tires.

No where in the small print does it say you can't ORDER them!

All it says is "offer limited to inventory available from manufacturer"

So, that almost $700 price tag is closer to $600!!!

WOOT!!!!!!!!!

REVO's HERE I COME!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I just did this today and the total was under $600 for a set of Revos. The only problem I have with Costco is that they wont order a size that is not specified in their computer so I had to stick with the stock 265/70/16. Not too worried tho they should look and more importantly perform MUCH better that the piece of ˟˟˟˟˟ Wrangler RT/S tires that came with my runner.

Is that the largest Revo they carry?

Better yet, have Costco print a quote with the $60 discount and then go to Sears and have them knock an additional 10% off for competitor discount.

I think when you apply for a costco membership, you have to sign an agreement not to take quotes to other businesses. Since they are wholesale, and its easier to sell at lower prices, it hurts the smaller businesses around it if people do this. And REVO,s for me too!!!

I never signed an agreement. Look at your contract. It might depend on the type membership__personal, business, etc

Any matter, Costco will not install any other size that the listed manufacture's tire size. You can buy any tire size but they will not fit them on any wheels. They will sell you any tire size, just not install them.

I was able to talk the manager into signing some kind of waiver to get them to install the 31's on my truck last year. Give that a try.

LOL, so, if I roll in on 285/75's they still won't install anything but 265/70's even though I want to give them money for some 285/75's or 305/70's???

Screw them then. I don't care how cheap they sell tires, I wouldn't give them my business out of principle. I don't need someone making decisions for me. I'm perfectly capable of screwing things up on my own...

Funny because the local Costco claimed they did not have Dueler Revos hmm
After calling them it seems they might be able to install them for 145/tires (or 130/tire with the rebate.
