Buying a 1999 4Runner

Hey guys! I am looking at a Black (ding free) 1999 4Runner SR 5. It is as loaded as an SR5 can be, plus it has the Electric Rear locker, Towing package and 62000 miles. He is asking 17,800. Is that a fair price? I just don't want to get ripped off?

Thanks for your replies!

Used Car

I'd look into the vehicle's maintenance history with the local dealer or via this person's records just to make sure there have been no "uh-ohs" in the history.

The price sounds good if it is in good shape and a 4x4, which you say it is.

My 0.02.

Thanks guys! Yes, it is a 4x4. It is almost too nice. I guess a few trips off road will break it of that!

I love 4Runners!

That's awesome it has an e-locker - if you plan on using it. That's a decent price. Keep in mind it may be up for a major 60K service (timing belt, water pump, etc)

Take that into consideration too.
