Bull Bar for 4Runner
Hey guys, my apologies if this is a frequently asked question, or in the wrong sub-forum. I've been searching incessantly through auto parts shops around my town, and I've been unable to come across a bull bar or a safari bar for my 2000 4Runner. As it looks so far, I'll have to fab one up myself, or make some mounting brackets to make a bull bar for another model compatible. Can anyone offer some insight on where I might possibly be able to find an after market one, or on possibly making some mounting brackets? Any help is appreciated.

I recently bought a TJM T-15 from sonoransteel.com and I absolutely love it. I believe ARB makes one for the 3rd gen too. There are definitely bumpers out there, keep searching. And welcome to Yotatech!

That's my T-15. Super easy to install.

FoSheezy, you are probably right since he mentioned a "safari" bar. I immediately jumped on "bull" bar since that is what ARB calls their bumper. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about what i would call a "brush guard" since I was never interested. I am sure somebody will help you out though.

Thanks for the welcome Before, I was leaning more towards one of the Westin bull bars, but just taking a look at some of the T-15 pictures, I'm starting to lean more towards like what Terminator has. What I mostly need it for is extra lighting, which was why, before, I was thinking about the bull bar, but I really like the look and the apparent functionality of the T-15. Plus, I don't think it would be a problem to drill out some holes and rig up some lights on there. Thanks for all the help, guys. Really appreciated.

If it's just that, you can drill the stock bumper too... (a little "bouncier")
or check out last pics 2 and 3 here of home-made light bar
it wasn't painted very well, and got pretty rusty though

I was looking for a jaw dropping smiley to use but couldn't find one. DAMN!
What in the heck do you use all that light for? That is awesome! Do you have a post where you talk about the setup anywhere?

Wow man, that's a heck of a lot of lights, and I'd hate to have you sitting outside my house at night So I was checking around on the internet, and I came across the TJM 'Type 3 Frontal Protection Bar'. I was wondering if anyone's heard anything about these? Here's a link... I'm thinking that's what I'm gonna try and go with, as Westin (what I was originally looking for) doesn't manufacture one for my model year They only do the new body styling (which fails, in my opinion).

LOL!!!!!
NO WAY would I ever actually put that many lights on my truck. That would be over 100amps, and would not even be possible. It's just a quick photoshop with a lot of copy pasting =)
Here's how it actually looks now
