I almost bought one from these guys some time ago. Mussa is made in Korea. Although it apperaed solid & the weight seems comparable with others, I ended up with a TJM bumper instead. Also, I had the guy down to $199 after the auction when he had either sold none or very few.

the sellor also emailed me some better pics with close ups of the guard on his rig.

Also, I remember looking at this guys feedback and it seemed pretty good.

Mussa even has a website but it is in Korean mostly. I finally found it (I think I got it from the sellor). My buddy is married to a Korean so she helped interpret it.

Bottom line, I probably would have gone for it except I wised up and figured out that I was actully putting on LESS weight by going TJM than by dumping a 60 - 70 pound grill guard on the front.

It's true they can potentially do more damage in a slight hit.

Some are good for mounting lights to...thats what I am going to use mine for once I get it installed.

Let us know what you end up doing, I would go with a TJM or ARB...just from what others said. I would too but my $$$ flow isn't going as well as I would like.

Just my $.02 as usual

I have a brush guard on my Taco and yeah it's mostly for looks and for mounting lights to, but as far them doing more damage in a low speed hit I don't think it would cause more damage than if it wasn't on there. I got backed into at a grocery store in my Frontier before I got my taco and the bumber got pushed back and wrinkled up my fenders pretty good. Now compared to an ARB or TJM, then there really is a huge difference, but that difference also includes price . I say go for the one on ebay $300 if you understand you can't go around playing bumper cars just cause you got a brush guard.

i have looked into this as well but if you ask me they charge too much for shipping i just ended up going to a local accesory shop and getting front/back brushguard for $450 which is almost same...you have to provide them an alt. shipping address(body shop or business address). brushguards are just for looks....=) i just wanted something to mount some lights on. look into your local shops and etc. manik and waag sells good stuff too but IMH they all look the same and i dont see any point in paying extra for the name brands.
