Bogging
Recently I've been having a problem with my 4Runner bogging off the line. It usually happens when I've been driving for a bit then come to a momentary stop like a yield or coming to a red light and it immediately turns green. I let off the gas for a second or two then right when I get back on the gas, nothing happens. The car doesn't move for a few moments then all of a sudden, it starts going again. This is really a problem when I'm trying to merge onto a freeway or when I'm stopped at a light and when it turns green, I can't move.
Not sure why this is happening, I've ruled out plugs and dirty injectors. I changed plugs about a year ago and I use injector cleaner every 6 months or so. I'm thinking maybe it's a dirty fuel filter but have not taken the time to investigate that yet because I understand that it's a major PITA. Any ideas on what else it could be?
