Bodywork anyone? Bumper, more specifically...
hey!
My Mom backed her '99 4r sr5 into someone (doh!) - looks like she now needs and end cap, the bumper center...and....??? Any suggestions here? My brothers have done a bunch of body work, so I may try and source parts and learn from them, but if anyone has tips or has done this, please chime in!
(large files -sorry!)

thanks in advance!

that corner piece is going to be hard to fix if it can be fixed. Check if some chrome came off. If so then just change the whole corner piece because that would rust real quick. I changed mine a while ago for about 150usd with 15% loyalty discount. Check with local junkyards, they might have a 4runner lying around which you could take parts off of. It's easy to change yourself. took me like 10 minutes. Good Luck

There are two ways to fix it:
1- Replace the corner
2- Try to find someone to bang it out. The only problem with this option is that most likely the chrome will flake off of that. So it will have to be re-chromed.
It would probably be cheaper to replace the part.

Sorry i wasn't clear...we are planing on replacing the end cap and center bumper piece.
I don't think the pictures show it, but there is a bit of damage behind the bumper as well. It looks to just be paint - something that could be touched up or sprayed.

From the picture it would seem that there is a bit of scrape on the body paint itself. Is this what you are talking about? If that is it then you would have to scrape it good if there is rust then go to a dealership and get a touchup paint for it. Oh don't use wd40 on the portion you're painting.
