Black FJ TRD's on 3rd Gen

Finally got them mounted (sorry for the poor pic quality). Have only seen pics of the Anthracite TRD's on a 3rd Gen previously.

Unique. I wondered how long it'd be before someone installed the Trail Edition FJ wheels.

Had the black lettering out on my stock rims, but thought the white lettering helped break up all the black.

Looks great, but IMO it would look even better with the white letters in.

No need to break up all the black.

Thanks for the comments. I have about 20K miles left on the tires and plan on moving to Nitto TG's once I replace these.....won't have an option at that point.

Those look good. They are 16" right? If you don't mind how much did you pay? I'm looking for some 16" rims right now.

Post some better pics. Looks good, though. I am getting some BFG KO's mounted on black rims tomorrow and still debating about the white lettering in or out.

They are 16 X 7.5 and came out to $120/ea. plus tax at the local dealer. I'll post some more pics when I get the truck cleaned up.

That's not bad at all. I didn't realize they were available at the dealer.

I have a Desert Dune also. I can't decide which would look better the black FJ rims or the silver/gunmetal FJ rims.

Mine is actually Millenium Silver, but it's filthy. I wanted to powdercoat my factory rims, but not having the truck for a week would've been a hassle. Besides it was almost the same $$$ and these are brand new.
