BL installed

Took about 6 hours (damn steering extension), but it's done. 3" OME suspension lift, 2" Performance Accessories BL, 33" Destination MTs (more details and pics on my site):

Lookin' good there Jackson

With the bigger meats there, it might be time for some Bushwackers or factory flares?

That would look really good.

I've thought about it, but if I don't have to in order to pass NY State inspection, I probably won't. At ths point, I don't want to put any more money into my rig than is necessary.

I'm really happy with where my rig is right now. The only other mod I want is a portable air compressor - but that I can take with me when I eventually get rid of the 4Runner, which I'm hoping will be in about 2 years.

FWIW... if I were to buy flares, it would either be stock SR5 flares or Xenons.

Alot of people out here have had the PA body lift blocks actually start to cut the bottom of the body.

3 Tacomas that I personally know of.

RB covers it here, why in the world did you not buy a RB?

Keep an eye out, I bet it will happen to you too.

I've heard about that. I know a lot of people running PA kits without trouble. They are still making the kits, so there can't be that many problems with them.

I bought the PA kit because I was not satisfied with RB's service. His site confused me a bit, so I e-mailed him on 2 separate occasions looking for clerification about what I needed. He simply referred me to his website. Plus, the PA kit was about $60 cheaper.

I like it, but I don't really have anything to compare it to. It came with everything I needed, including a steering extension and radiator drop brackets. The only thing I had to buy was four 7" bolts. Because the kit is designed for the Tacoma, 4 of the supplied bolts were too short. I spent about $8 at the local hardware store on bolts and nylock nuts. No problems with the new hardware.

Ok It Looks really cool, But I have one question. Can you get some heavy duty brackets to raise the bumper? To my eye it looks like it almost blocks the lights a bit now. Sorry to point out possible flaws... Other than that it really does look sweet!!

That's definitely and issue, as is the 2" gap between my sliders and my rockers. Not sure what I'm going to do about the bumper, but I am going to look into it. If the state of New York wasn't suck a pain about inspections, I wouldn't care, but...

Thanks - hopefully I won't need it. I suspect the 3 tacos you know wheel a lot harder/more often than I do.

FWIW I've been running a PA body lift for several years now, with no problems, and yes I do offroad it.
