Billstein Shocks @ PP....65bux?

Ive been doing a little searching, and I think I have a good deal but Im not 100%, so I need your guy's opinion. I have found billstein shock for 64.99 + shipping at Performance Products. The thing is, they rated them for stock height - in the event of a small lift (~1-3") they will still work correctly, yes? And is this a good deal?

http://www.performanceproducts.com/P...producttype=40

Thanks,
Steve

They work great for 1-2" of lift. Any more than that and they will limit droop. BTW - I got the Edelbrocks from them for $5 each. Supposed to give a softer ride but they still handle the really rough stuff.

I meant $5 more. See how I haven't had enough coffee yet? Hehe. From what everyone told me the Downey HD springs and Edelbrock setup was the ticket as far as strength and smooth ride.

I went to Central's site and they had the Bilsteins for the same price as Performance Products. You probably got a good sale.

I bought my bilstiens from NWOR and installed them at 10K mikes in 96. I now have 81K miles and still think they are the best way to go. Most of my mileage is on road -ski trips and lately hauling my youngest daughter back and forth to PLU. Off road is limited to dirt roads/drriveways. Still there are times when I feel and see the difference.

I got mine from PP for 64.99$. Best bet is to call them. If I woulda ordered off the website it would have cost me 10$ more because the rear's were listed for 69.99 and when I called they were 64.99 like the rest. I would call in the order cause they have a more updated price list. Kinda wish I would have gotten a catalog with my shocks since first time I ordered with them, oh well I'll just request one from the website.
