Bike Rack Recommendation

Hello, I am looking for good suggestions on a brand/make/model of a bike rack that will mount onto my trailer hitch. Something that will hold at least 2 full size mountain bikes and possibly with a swing out arm. My truck is a Tacoma Double Cab with factory tow hitch and factory Snug Top, so a swing out arm would be nice so I could get into the topper. If you have something like this and it works with your Tacoma I would appreciate your recommendation and where I can purchase this.

Thanks

Cliff

Thumbs up bike rack

I have had the bike rack from www.draftmaster.com for 2 years now with no problems. My set up is for 2 bikes. It is a bit costly but the bikes are stable at high speeds and safely attached. Roof racks can be a pain and if you have anything else on the roof (like a thule ski box) your truck turns into a sail boat when driving thru windy areas.

Hope this helps you make a decision.

I have a Yakima Terra Firma and it is great. The only downside of most trailer hitch mounted racks is that they do not allow very well to the new frame designs. They are all basically designed to hold the bike by the top tube. The one best exception, and what I would get if I were doing it today. Sportworks racks, just like you see on the front of most buses. They are AWESOME and grab the bike by the tires.

Thanks everyone for the great information you provided me on the bike rack suggestions. This has been the first time I posted a topic and got great response. I have limited space with a 5 foot bed with the Snug Top shell. I had enought room for 1 mountain bike after loading it with camping gear/coolers/stuff and need to carry 2 more bikes. Thanks so much!

I went with the Yakima Hitchfork today, nice and compact and folds up when not in use.
