Best cheap, local MT tires??
I can't pend $200 a tire on some top notch rubber, juts want a good mud tire that can be used as a DD tire as well as a weekend romper. Size 265/75/16. Cheap and versatile..what do you guys like?

You can get used ones cheap. Just gotta wait and keep searching.
Picked up my 35" MTR's for $300 for all 4, all at 80% + tread!
As for cheap ones, I know the Geolandar MT's are cheap, and look nice. Then there's the offbrands you can buy at Big O or Discount.

Also check out Dayton Timberline MTs. They are basically the same design as the Firestone Destination MT just a little less aggressive. They are a pretty solid mud tire and a lot of people get around 50,000 miles on them on daily driven rigs.

SAVERO makes a nice M/T. I don't know about that size but, for my size 31 X 10.5 R15 cost about $420 mounted and balanced out the door.

I'd check discount first and then call them. A lot of times the store manager can work some manage and get the price a lot lower than their online price. Just depends if they have the tires in stock and how busy they are.

Do you really want to skimp on your rubber? It's one the the most critical choices you will make in your modification process and makes a huge difference in your performance. Why not save a little longer and get a nicer, name brand set? Check out Ebay as well. I bought my last set of tires from Discount Tire on Ebay and scored a heck of deal.

All prices are negotiable. You just gotta ask if they can do any better on the price for you. They also price match...
