best allterrain tires?
sorry if this thread has already been beat to death but i ws looking for some quality allterrain tires for my 4runner. i was originally looking at the bfg allterrains but there a little out of my price range. is anyone running the bridgestone revo's? how do they do offroad? im open to any suggestions.
by the way the truck will be used 80% on road about 20% off road ( its my daily driver)

probably around $150...do some homework on that site. Also take into account that those prices don't include shipping or mounting/balancing. Try Costco too.

I like my Revos, and I've also been impressed by the already mentioned Yokohamas and Firestone Destination MT's but they might be too aggressive for some. You'll find by searching that the BFG All Terrains and the Bridgestone Dueler Revo's are two of the most common tires people are running on here, and you can bet it's for a reason.

I want to try the revos next time. Right now Im using the BFG TA Kos. The only reason I want to go with the Revos, they're cheaper. Firestone ussally runs 30% off sales here in hawaii every few months. I spent almost $200 a pop for my 305/70/16s

I run Toyo Open Conntry AT's 31x10.5x15. I only paid $100 a piece for them. I have had Goodyear At's and BFG AT's. So far I have found that I get better traction in off road and wet conditions with the Toyo's than other other AT's I have ran in the last 10 years. I can go almost any where in 2wd that most places I use to run 4wd . Just my opinion though, Dayton makes a decent AT at a good price. They are called Radial Stags, I believe, I had a set of them on my Nissan 4x4 about 10 years ago. The Toyo's are by far the best I have used in a long time and they have a 70,000 tread wear warranty. Again just my $.02 worth.

Mine do great in the rain. Use to when I would hit a puddle of water running the hiways it would feel like the truck's rear end would lose traction. Now just straight and true

Costco has a 60$ coupon on Michelin and Brigdestone tires, that brings the cost of 4 revos tires down to about $550. They don't have the tires, but they will give you a rain check to order the tires for you if you show up (sale ends today)

Toyo Open Country A/T's here as well. Very pleased with them, great traction in every condition I've tried; dry, wet, snow, ice.
They are very quiet for an A/T tire, and balanced out better than the Michelin LTX M/S tires I had previously.

5 Revo's (265/75/16, load C) cost me just under $800 mounted/balanced.

Right now I have Bridgestone 31" Dueler AT 691's and am going to need new tires soon. I don't think Bridgstone sells these tires anymore, so what is their equivalent? My spare is brand new so I wanted to get the same tires.
