bent axle???
Bah....no one ever gives me a strait answer at the dealership. I have posted millions of times about some for of a problem w/ the rear end on my 4Runner, but i guess i will ask some more questions again. The problem started w/ broken axle seals...over and over. turns out the first dealership beat the hell outa my axle w/ a chisel and hammer. Also, my car was rear-ended a long time ago, and the side of the back bumper was pushed into the back tire. The problems i'm having w/ my car is that it always vibrates, like a tire out of balence, but thats not the problem, also, the brakes pulse kinda like warped rotors, but that's not the problem either. I just replaced the rotors and drums. When i pull the handbrake while driving, i feel the pulsing as well. Does this sound like a bent axle? I cant see what else it could possibly be.

It shouldn't be too hard for the dealership to tell for sure. You could do it your self. Just put the entire truck on jack stands, and run it in gear at low speed. If you have a bent axle, or a bent wheel you should see it right away. Just be careful that it doesn't fall off. Be sure to do this on a level, stable surface and use good quality jack stands.
