bellhouse for mating a supra to a V6 gearbox
Hi folks. I have a question for you guys which are interested in swapping a 7M-GE or 7M-GTE into a 4R or pickup.
I did my swap using a hybrid bellhouse to mate the 7M engine to the R series pickup/4R gearbox. I did this because the W series gearboxes are too weak and however its a bolt-on, will fail for certain.
After visiting this forum and several others I noticed that a lot of people want to perform the swap, but have difficulties hooking up the R151 to the engine. Most people decide not to perform the swap, or use a 5V-ZE.
Now here's my idea:
I want to make special aluminum cast bellhousings for mating the 7M-GTE(or GE) to the R150-R151. Together with the supra doctor at:
http://www.supras.nl/
I want to make several special bellhousings for the above mentioned project, but also for mating up the 1JZ and 2JZ-TE to the R style gearboxes.
Here's the question:
Is anybody interested in purchasing one of these special bellhousings?
Or maybe even a complete swap kit which would make the swap a bolt-on and plug and play (not entirely true offcourse, stuff still needs to be changed) kind of thing?
This kit could include: engine brackets, tranny mount, exhaust, hoses, wiring, bellhouse, clutch, flywheel, oilsump etc.
Is anybody interested?
