Before and after (2nd Gen. budget lift)

I installed while ago SDORIīs bj-spacers and rear coil spacers. Simple and wise(?) way to lift your 4Runner. I have been really satisfied.

Now I have LT265/75R16 (32") winter tires on 8x16" steel wheels (offset +8), no rubbing at any circumstances. I havenīt tried 33x10.50s yet, maybe I should install some washers under lower bumpstops that they donīt rub at all at full articulation (they did it w/no lift and theoretically bj-spacers (or cranking t-bars) donīt help the situation).

Sorry about the bad quality. Pic

Looks good, how much space is there around the back tires?

I second ditching those running boards. Then it will look like you lifted it 2 inches more! Nice rig.

There is now about 54-55 cm (~21.5") from center of the axle to the fender, so space is something like 14-15 cm (5.5-5.9") with 265/75R16s.

And I like of these running boards, they are useful. Ok, they limit very much of off-roading. Maybe tube-type ones would be more practical.

get a set of sliders. It is the best ofboth worlds.

I like my Manik tube steps... they aren't sliders, but they do look a bit better and they bolt right on to where the running boards came off.
