Bed cover suggestions needed for Taco
Did some looking and this is about the best deal I found on a good soft cover to get luggage out of the cabin on long trips. Any comments/suggestions, good/bad/otherwise. $209 shipped

I would go with the extang. However, thinking back to my Tacoma days, a tonneau cover that had some type of lifting mechanism would have been nice. But you're right, something about that second one seems cheap.

I prefer the full camper. It seems a bit more useful and more secure. Of course if somebody wants into a camper, it isn't that difficult to break into. I am glad I got a shell over a cover. But, if you are just using it for storage, $200 is pretty cheap. The extang looks like better quality.

I have the cover craft soft cover and is one of the best investments made for my truck (~$240). Don't know if it can hold 7 people on it and not going to try. However, if your going to fill your bed beyond the wheel wells (you cannot reach much beyond that point) often you might want to get the soft hatch one because its b**ch to take off and put back on. Also, if you do long highway runs it helps the airodynamics a lot.

Ordered the extang last night, will put up some infoafter the install for any Taco owners that might find it interesting because at $200 shipped with the cover treatment and a 10 year warranty, its not a bad deal for anyone looking.
