badlanz exhaust cutout

i'm thinking of putting one on. i'm pretty sure the stock 4runner pipes are 2.25". any advice?

if you ask me its a waste of money for what it will do. you'd be better off clamping your mufflers or straight pipe w/e, then puttin a emmisions legal muffler on come smog time.

how easy would that be compared to just cutting out a spot, welding the Y on, bolting on the valve, and going? i'm looking for best sound for less, i'm tired of my tall truck sounding like a puss. ;]

lol just get a 18'' magnaflow muffler do the isr and deckplate mod too

It could net a few more hp if you do it before the cat and resonators, but if you're just going for sound I would throw a flowmaster on it. I love the silent deep tone of my flowmasters (I've had them on a few cars, never my 4runner though)
