Backup Sensors
I always wanted something that will help with backing up as with this car I can't judge the space behind at all. While on a plane I browsed this catalog of gadgets that they force feed to all passengers and saw exactly what I was looking for.
It was a $40 device embedded in a license plate frame, but provided little detail of how it works, but I'm sure it was far from being high 'quality' like the rest of the stuff in the catalog.
Are there any other similar devices on the market with a good reputation?

I know that Jocobs Electronics, maker of the ignition systems, make an obstacle sensing system. I know their ignition systems are known for thier quality.

The other suggestion is one of those rear view cameras, they have some now that have the screen integrated into the rear view mirror, but they cost about 500 bucks.
