Backspacing on 17" tundra wheels
I am looking at picking up a set of 17" tundra wheels because I like the look of 305/70r17 tire/wheel combo. Just worried about tire/wheel fitment and wondering about the back spacing on the wheels. Not to worried about the rear as I plan on swapping in a locked tacoma axle, which is a bit wider, but clearance on the front is not so sure. I'd be willing to get wheel adapters if necessary. BTW I will have cruiser coils, bj spacers and a 1" bl.

so I would probably need a 1" wheel adapter in the front to keep from rubbing right? with 305/70r17? As usual thanks for your help mike! Hope the swap is going well!

Yes they are 4.5 backspacing. I am using the Tundra/Sequia wheel. I liked the look and the 17" wheel. I cut and filled the upper a-arm to allow room for my 285's with the 17.
