Question Back-up lights

can someone tell me how to take off the back up light lens i have one burnt out and i did remove the two screws and the lens wants to come out but it seems to be still held in place . 1992 4runner.

Welcome to the forums

After the two screws are pulled out, the lens may still be stuck in place from age.

They pull straight out like the tail lamps do.
See if that works by pulling on it.

Hey!!

Thanks Corey you were right about the back up lights ,I just pulled hard and they did pop out. The push in ends were rusted so i cleaned them up and put a little antiseaze on them and repaired the light popped them back in. so thanks again and iam glad to be a member to this site.

Hi Van, glad I could be of help.

If you have to ever replace the front side lamps, they also have the round tube/tab things that stick into the body.
They also take a "hard pull" to pop them out.

Glad you got it out. I just pulled mine yesterday to get the bulb number. I am replacing mine with PIAA superwhites.
